As per the official press release from the Czech car marque, the Skoda Kushaq is being offered with a price reduction (due to new GST norms) of up to Rs 66,000. However, there are additional offers from the dealerships worth up to Rs 2.5 lakh. This takes the total to a whopping Rs 3.16 lakh, which is massive. Similarly, if you wish to get your hands on the Skoda Slavia, the GST benefits are up to Rs 63,000, but the additional discounts from Skoda are up to a considerable Rs 1.2 lakh. Hence, this totals to Rs 1.83 lakh.
Finally, the flagship Skoda Kodiaq is available with the highest discounts, as expected, due to its high initial price tag. At present, the Czech auto giant has been able to pass on the GST benefits to the customers with a price reduction of up to Rs 3.3 lakh. However, the surplus Rs 2.5 lakh discount takes the total amount to an enticing Rs 5.8 lakh. Therefore, if you wanted to go for a Skoda car, this might be the ideal time for that.

I believe this GST reform gift by the Indian government will certainly boost sales considerably. The discount amounts are quite chunky, and almost all carmakers have decided to pass on these benefits directly to the consumers. In fact, the new prices of each model of various car companies have been out. It clearly looks like the festive season this year could fetch hundreds of thousands of new car buyers.
