Hyundai Exter Features and Specs

Hyundai Exter gets some remarkable safety features. It will have segment-first dual dashcam and standard 6 airbags across all variants. Other highlights of the equipment list include digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, ventilated seats, and a large infotainment screen with connectivity features. Some of the available images even reveal a single-pane electric sunroof and a dual-tone body paint. This means the Exter will soon become one of the most affordable cars in India to offer a sunroof.

The upcoming SUV has two engine options that comply with the BS6 Phase-2 standards and support E20 blended fuel. The regular versions will have a 82 hp-115 Nm 1.2L VTVT 4-cylinder petrol engine. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. Also, the micro SUV will be available with a CNG option right from its market launch. However, expectedly, the alternative fuel variant misses out on the AMT. The Tata Punch-rival could even receive a 1.0L 3-cylinder T-GDi turbo petrol engine at a later stage. The low-displacement turbo-petrol mill produces 99 hp of power and 172 Nm of torque.
