The mid-size SUV segment is set to receive another Japanese product in the form of Honda Elevate to rival the mighty Hyundai Creta.

Honda Elevate is set to debut on 6th June 2023 in India announcing a challenge to the segment leader, Hyundai Creta. Honda has been expressing its desire to introduce a mid-size SUV in India for a while now. Finally, the global debut is just around the corner. With this, we see almost every major carmaker present in this highly lucrative and exponentially expanding mid-size SUV segment. Well, this is only a good thing for the customers who will have an incredibly diversified range of potent SUVs to choose from.

This digital rendition was created by bagrawala_designs on Instagram. The video has the two SUVs parked side by side for an aesthetic comparison. On one hand, we have the familiar Creta with distinct LED DRLs flanking the large front grille with chrome embellishments and the main LED headlamps, a rugged skid plate, on the other hand, we see glimpses of what the Elevate could look like. Its front section bears a more polished and clean look with sleek headlamps on either side of the slim chrome bar running atop the massive grille.

The grille itself has the waterfall effect and it gets wider as we go down. In fact, it is slightly reminiscent of the swindle pattern that we see on the premium Lexus cars. At the bottom, there is a rugged and imposing skid plate that accentuates the sportiness of the SUV. There are fog lamps positioned traditionally on the edges of the bumper. It is definitely an understated but elegant exterior choice by the designer and we might get something along these lines in the production version too.
