How to Reboot Unresponsive Touchscreen of Tata Nexon

This video shows a hack to reboot the unresponsive touchscreen infotainment system of the Tata Nexon facelift. The Nexon stands as one of the country’s most thriving compact SUVs, consistently flying off the shelves for quite some time. Its tremendous success can be attributed to several standout factors, including a coveted 5-star safety rating, eye-catching bold aesthetics, cutting-edge technology, and a host of convenient features. Nonetheless, a comprehensive update is long overdue. With the introduction of the new Nexon, Tata has refreshed its appearance and made subtle enhancements to the turbo petrol engine. Let’s delve into the specifics of this post.

How to Reboot Unresponsive Touchscreen of Nexon?

This post comes from zigwheels and bigtorquer on Instagram. The vlogger alleges that the infotainment display is unresponsive in the Nexon facelift. He shows that the touchscreen is not moving. Then the vlogger explains an interesting hack. He holds the mute button for 10 seconds, then he holds the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds. This makes the system reboot. He switches off the car then. Once that is done, he opens the door for 15 seconds. Finally, he switches on the car and the infotainment starts functioning. Now, we can’t confirm or deny the working of this hack but this is what the vlogger shows.

Now, there are many pre-production cars which the media gets to drive. Also, there are issues with these models sometimes. Therefore, it is entirely possible that this could be a pre-production model. As a matter of fact, we even reached out to Tata Motors for comments. However, we were not able to get anything at the time of drafting this post. In any case, it is possible that this glitch might just be due to the fact that this is a pre-production model. Such things are generally fixed by the time the main production version launches.
