Hyundai Exter Mid S Variant

The video comes from Missautologs on YouTube. The front section has the trademark H-signature LED DRLs on the bonnet, halogen headlamps on the bumper, skid plate and black grille. Moving down the sides, there are dual-tone ORVMs, 14-inch steel wheels, square wheel arches and fender-mounted turn indicators. At the rear, one finds the textured C-pillars, rugged skid plate, and taillamps connected by a black slab making it look modern.

Interior and Features

On the inside, this model gets fabric seats, rear AC vents, height adjustable driver seat, steering-mounted controls, an 8-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment system, MID, 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, cup holders, reverse parking sensors, and more. This certainly makes it quite a package despite it being the second from the bottom variant. Hyundai has taken care of the safety aspect with 6 airbags across the range.

Specs

The Hyundai Exter comes with two powertrain options – a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.2-litre bi-fuel engine (petrol and CNG). The petrol engine produces 83 PS and 113.8 Nm, while the bi-fuel engine offers 69 PS and 95.2 Nm of power and torque. The petrol engine comes with a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. The bi-fuel engine is available only with a manual transmission. The Exter has an impressive fuel efficiency rating of 19.2 km/l, providing a good balance of performance and economy. Its competitive pricing ranges from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10 lakh, ex-showroom.
