Interestingly, this is the same as its chief competitor, the Maruti Baleno. i20 has always redefined what a premium hatchback should be. It pushed the envelope with each new avatar with tons of new-age tech and convenience amenities, safety features, bold styling and multiple powertrain and transmission alternatives. Hyundai i20 Now Starts at Rs 5.99 lakh

By pegging the i20’s entry price at ₹5.99 lakh, right alongside the Baleno, Hyundai is clearly signalling that premium hatchback buyers no longer have to compromise on features or safety for affordability. The inclusion of 6 airbags and a digital cluster even on the base Era variant reinforces Hyundai’s strong grasp of evolving Indian buyer priorities.
