Waiting Periods Down to Normal

A comment by Mr. Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. on the sales performance even reveals the achievement of normalcy in the supply situation. He said,โ€œAs we enter the peak of festive season in India, Hyundai Motor India registered robust sales number of 55 128 units in the domestic market in the month of October. The recent announcement of standardizing of 6 airbags across all Hyundai models and variants has been extremely well received by our valued customers. Also, the supply situation is back to full normalcy and our network is geared up to delight customers with the delivery of their favourite Hyundai carsโ€.

The latest development is inline with the recent update on Hyundai Creta’s waiting period coming down to just 2 months. It is noteworthy that the same used to hover somewhere around 6 months. While there’s a strong demand for the compact SUV, the semi-conductor shortage played a huge role in the swelling up of the delivery time. Incidentally, the reduction of waiting period coincides with the onset of this year’s festive season. Each year, carmakers witness a higher-than-usual demand during this season as most consider it auspicious for purchasing items such as cars and home appliances. That the waiting period is now back to normal is something that will please all car buyers.

Standardisation of 6 Airbags

The comment by Mr Garg even reveals a hearty welcome to the carmaker’s move to standardise 6 airbags in all its cars. Hyundai’s decision to provide 6 airbags as a standard feature across its entire lineup is truly praiseworthy. Car buyers prioritize safety features when buying a vehicle, and knowing that all Hyundai models come with this high standard of safety is reassuring. Additionally, Hyundai’s extensive dealership and service network nationwide contributes to its popularity and robust order books. The festive season will be an interesting time for the automobile industry, and we look forward to the results.
