All-new Hyundai Venue to debut on November 4 with petrol, turbo, and diesel-auto options, a clear edge over Maruti Brezza’s limited powertrain lineup
Hyundai Motor India will launch the all-new Hyundai Venue on November 4, 2025. One of the biggest talking point of the new model has been Its wide range of engine and gearbox combinations. This gives it a clear edge over its main rival, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza. While the Brezza sticks to petrol and CNG powertrains, the new Venue will offer three distinct engine options. These even include a diesel automatic option.
Performance Figures Unveiled
2025 Hyundai Venue is on sale in three options. The entry-level option continues to be the Kappa 1.2 MPi petrol motor that produces 83 PS and 114.7 Nm. It will come paired with a 5-speed manual. For performance-seekers, there’s the 1.0 Turbo GDi turbo-petrol option outputting 120 PS and 172 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT. The third option is the U2 1.5-litre CRDi diesel. The oil-burner outputs 116 PS and 250 Nm. The diesel mill is now offered with both manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions. Complementing these engines are traction control modes (sand, mud, snow) and drive modes (eco, normal, sport). Another highlight is the paddle shifters, which should add to its sporty appeal.

The all-new Hyundai Venue will be a key constituent of HMIL’s portfolio. By offering petrol, turbo-petrol, and diesel-auto options, Hyundai has secured a big mechanical advantage over the Maruti Brezza, which remains limited to petrol power. For buyers who want both performance and variety, the new Venue might just be the smarter pick this festive season.
