This time around, a unique case has emerged where a brand-new Hyundai Verna meets a terrible fate a few hours after the delivery. As per the information in the video, this case has been reported from Gujarat. A group of youngsters were driving during the night after taking the delivery of the new sedan. However, due to some unknown reason, the driver ended up pressing the accelerator pedal instead of the brakes.

The visuals capture the after-effects of the terrible crash. Since the river bed was empty, the sedan is seen engulfed in wet mud. In fact, it has even entered the cabin since the vehicle fell on its roof. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in this incident. The overall condition of the vehicle is also quite normal. There are dents on the side door panel and roof. This is a testament to the build quality of the new Verna which has performed well during unfortunate incidents.

We encounter numerous cases where new drivers end up taking the delivery of a brand-new car and meeting with an accident. There are many reasons for this including the fact that not everyone is equipped to deal with the adjustment of a brand-new car and its controls. That is why it is advised that one must never start driving a brand-new vehicle if he/she is not a trained driver. Apart from that, we must drive carefully during the night due to low visibility. Finally, it is high time we start appreciating and following the traffic regulations to make our roads safer than they are.
