Kia India Achieves 27,603 Sales in January 2026
As per the official press release, Kia sold 25,025 cars in January 2025, and this figure rose to 27,603 in January 2026. This showcases a healthy growth rate. The prime contributors to these sales stats are the new-gen Seltos, Sonet, Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV. In essence, each vehicle holds a strong position in its respective category. The fact that Kia operates in some of the most popular segments in our market ensures that the volumes remain high.

Kiaโs consistent double-digit growth tells me one thing, the brand has firmly cracked the Indian mass-premium formula. With the new-gen Seltos, Sonet and the expanding Carens lineup, Kia is intelligently positioned in the countryโs highest-volume SUV and MPV segments. What stands out to me is its sharp focus on feature-loaded offerings, something Indian buyers actively prioritize today. Sustaining over 27,000 monthly sales reflects not just strong products, but a well-calibrated pricing and positioning strategy in an increasingly competitive market.
