Kia Seltos and Sonet New Trims

Kia Seltos and Sonet New Trims

The Kia Seltos and Sonet lineups now get 5 additional trims to cater to a wider range of potential customers. Both these SUVs are the reasons for the immense success of the Korean auto giant in our market. These are among the highest-selling SUVs in their respective segments despite fierce competition. Even at the moment, the list of variants on both these cars is extensive. But to further entice more buyers, Kia has diversified the lineup even more. Let us take a look at the details of these new additions.

Kia Seltos and Sonet Get 5 New Trims

The fresh lineup now includes 4 GTX variants on Petrol DCT and Diesel AT and an X-Line variant. This takes the total number of variants to 21 in the case of Seltos and 22 in the case of Sonet. Seltos GTX+ trims now get Solar Glass and White Callipers in the front and rear. In the X-Line range, Kia now offers the Aurora Black Pearl colour with an all-black glossy appearance with the existing Matt Graphite option. In fact, the new GTX trim will offer amenities like ADAS, a sliding armrest and a 360-degree camera over the HTX trim.

Kia Seltos and Sonet Prices

The main highlight of these new variants is to offer more features to the buyers at lower prices. Initially, all the top amenities were reserved for the top-of-the-line trims. Once people demand for those functions in lower trims, carmakers often start offering some of these in lower variants as well. That is exactly what the Korean giant has also gone for.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Myung-sik Sohn, Chief Sales Officer at Kia India said, “Constant evolution and customer centricity have been the key to Kia’s success in India. The product enhancements are part of the same strategy, offering our customers the latest technology, features, and best value for the money they spend. The introduction of GTX trims will not only offer our customers the thrill of driving a GT line but also keep them abreast of the latest and best automotive innovations packed in a car. Other offerings like a turbo petrol Sonet under 10 Lakh and black-themed X-line are part of offering our customers the utmost choice so that they don’t have to compromise on their aspirations.”
