The new breed of EVs from the Indian automobile giant has been having a great time on the sales charts
This latest post showcases the ownership experience of a Mahindra BE6 owner. Mahindra recently launched two EVs in India – XEV 9e and BE6. These are based on the INGLO platform, which will spawn many electric SUVs in the coming years. In fact, Mahindra says that it has designed these EVs for the global markets. In all honesty, the styling, performance and tech in these cars are definitely world-class. For now, let us check out what the BE6 owner thinks about it.
Mahindra BE6 Owner Shares Detailed Ownership Experience
This video comes to us courtesy of Rajni Chaudhary on YouTube. The host has the owner of the Mahindra BE6 with her. She asks him about the detailed experience of using the BE6 for a while now. The man is clearly satisfied with the EV. In fact, he is a content creator himself and has been researching about electric cars for over 2.5 years. He mentions that he had to charge the EV only once for 20 minutes to complete his journey from Lucknow to Gurugram. This is approximately 570 km, and he was able to sequester around 520 km of range on a single charge. That is quite impressive. Obviously, you need to drive it to maximize range. In fact, he says that the range has improved after the first service.
Thereafter, he mentions that Mahindra is working on many features which will soon be available with updates. Next up, he shares his great experience with ADAS. The electronics work perfectly and make the entire driving experience much safer. It prevents overtaking in case it calculates that there is not enough gap. Furthermore, he even cited an instance where the EV applied brakes autonomously when it recognized a fast biker coming from behind. He also applauds the regenerative braking and one pedal driving experience, particularly in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
In the final section of the video, he takes the host out for a drive. During driving, he mentions that he has some issues with the suspension system of this EV. At times, he feels the bumps on broken roads more than he did on the demo car. However, I must mention that it is quite subjective. Also, it is not a deal breaker. There are many positives of this car, which outweigh that problem. Overall, the man is evidently satisfied with the electric coupe SUV.
