The higher tune produces 185 hp and 420 Nm, which goes up to 450 Nm with the automatic gearbox. Both engines can be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Mahindra claims the SUV can sprint from 0 to 60 km/h in less than 5 seconds. During our tests, the vehicle achieved 0 to 100 km/h in around 10 seconds. This performance is impressive for a large SUV. The XUV 7XO also offers multiple drive modes. These include Zip, Zap, Zoom and a custom setting. Buyers can also opt for an all-wheel-drive system. My View

As one can experience from the list above, the AX7 is a decently loaded trim with almost all relevant accessories and amenities, which most customers would ever need. Things like the triple display, ADRENOX connectivity, powered seats, BYOD, air purifier, multi-zone automatic climate control, skyroof, drive modes and tons of safety features. Hence, if you are on a strict budget, opting for the AX7 will give you a great balance between affordability and features, along with the option of multiple powertrain and transmission combinations.

On the other hand, if you want an automatic transmission, along with the advanced active safety functions, the AX7T will be best suited for you. The Level 2 ADAS+, premium audio system, additional 7th airbag, ventilated seats, wireless charging, etc., are some of the reasons to go for the AX7T. Note that the petrol version of this trim is not available with a manual gearbox. Finally, the AX7L is for those who prioritize tech and features over everything else. When budget is no constraint and comfort and convenience is all you seek, going for the AX7L makes a lot of sense for you. In any case, I believe that there is no right or wrong choice here. Everything depends on your personal preferences and budget. Nevertheless, the AX7 certainly seems like a decent value-for-money proposition.
