The Mahindra XUV700 facelift was spied testing on public roads recently. The existing XUV700 is a premium SUV from Mahindra. Ever since its launch in India back in 2021, it has achieved immense success on the sales charts. People have really taken a liking to the SUV. In fact, Mahindra even sells it in international markets like Australia and South Africa, where it has gained decent traction. Since the facelift has been due for a while now, we keep witnessing the test mules quite often. Let us see what it will come equipped with.
Mahindra XUV700 Facelift Spied Testing
The visuals of this spotting have been going around on the internet. As per the details in the video, this took place somewhere in Tamil Nadu. We are able to witness the heavily camouflaged SUV parked on the side of a mountainous road. Someone driving from the opposite side recorded the entire episode. We are able to recognize the front section with vertical slats on the grille. Also, the overall silhouette is almost identical to the existing model, which is expected. As the video progresses, the side section comes to the fore.
The upright stance is reminiscent of the typical demeanour of the XUV700 we have come to appreciate over the years. Furthermore, we are able to glance at the new set of alloy wheels and a relatively similar LED taillamp design as the current version. In any case, we can expect tons of new-age amenities and tech features on the inside. Apart from that, I don’t think there will be any change to the powertrain option. My View
The Mahindra XUV700 started the new-age revolution for the Indian car marque in 2021. Thereafter, Mahindra launched multiple modern SUVs to establish itself as a prominent player in the country. In fact, its latest breed of electric cars under the sub-brands, XEV and BE, has also received widespread applause from critics and customers alike. I must also mention here that there will also be an electric iteration of the XEV700 in the times to come.
