Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara X-Line Trim Rendering

This X-Line trim of the Maruti Grand Vitara brings out the sporty iteration of the popular mid-size SUV. Digital automobile artists have a knack for creating thought-provoking illustrations of popular vehicles. This is a prime example of it. Grand Vitara is Maruti’s answer to the dominance of the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. It has been doing exceedingly well on the sales charts as well. With the kind of response it got from the customers, getting an opportunity to witness it in a different avatar is thrilling. Let us take a look at the details here.

This illustration stems from Bimble Designs on YouTube. The final product bears only a slight DNA from the original model. In fact, the aesthetics and design pattern are inspired by the regular model but the overall silhouette consists of a bagged layout. At the front, the LED DRLs and headlamp appearance is almost the same but they are certainly more pronounced. Apart from that, there is a colossal front grille finished in glossy black material. The air intakes are colossal on the extreme edges of the sporty bumper and there is a splitter under the bumper just like on racing cars.

On the sides, the bagged reminiscence becomes much more evident. The wheel arches are flared and are filled with ginormous black alloy wheels. There is also a compact roof rail setup and black underlining on the window frames. In fact, there is an aerodynamic element behind the rear fender which is common in performance cars. At the rear, one gets to witness a shark fin antenna, roof-mounted spoiler, connected LED taillamps, sporty bumper, premium exhausts and a butch stance. All in all, if Maruti were to ever launch a performance version of the Grand Vitara, it could borrow some elements from this virtual concept.

Such digital iterations help break the monotony of watching cars in their regular avatars. As automobile enthusiasts, we appreciate the creativity on display with such illustrations. We know that most of these elements can never make it to the production-spec version. Still, to experience them in real life is quite rewarding. We shall keep an eye out for more such digital concepts of successful cars.
