Maruti Swift Tom & Jerry Wrap

This is India’s only Maruti Swift with a funky Tom & Jerry wrap. In India, the majority of car modifications carried out by aftermarket shops are in violation of the law. Nevertheless, there is a growing trend of individuals seeking car modifications for a variety of purposes. This includes improvement in performance or aesthetics. Notably, this industry has experienced a substantial surge in popularity, particularly in recent years. These modification shops have access to an impressive array of spare parts and cutting-edge technology, enabling them to make extensive alterations to virtually any vehicle. Let us take a look at the details of this latest wrap.

Maruti Swift with Tom & Jerry Wrap

This post comes from saggarrao on Instagram. It captures a unique sight. A completely wrapped Maruti Swift is plying on the road. Someone driving adjacent to the car has recorded a video. We reckon the Swift owner would’ve asked him/her to do that to create a viral reel. Most people do such activities to create buzz around their social media handles. The entire vehicle is seen in this video with a thick wrap. The front section also has stickers on the windshield. Finally, the tail section, including the lamps has been modified a lot. There is no way such a car wouldn’t catch your eye on the road.

Specs

The Maruti Swift comes with a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine that delivers a respectable 88 hp and 113 Nm of peak power and torque. You can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT automatic gearbox to handle your transmission needs. Furthermore, there is a CNG variant available, which generates 76 hp and 98 Nm of peak power and torque, and it comes with the option of a sole 5-speed manual transmission. The price range for the Swift starts from Rs 5.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.03 lakh, ex-showroom. The upcoming next-gen model could even come with the sportier 1.0-litre turbo petrol mill.

What We Think

As previously mentioned, the majority of significant car modifications are against the law in India. If law enforcement authorities catch you with these alterations, you’ll likely receive a fine. This is why we strongly discourage altering the original settings of your vehicle. If you do wish to change the colour of your car, you must seek approval from your local Regional Transport Office (RTO). If they grant permission, you should keep the authorization with you. This approach can help you avoid substantial fines. In most other cases, making modifications will lead to legal issues. Let’s commit to being responsible and law-abiding drivers.
