mahindra xuv700 driver sleeps adas misuse

While I've often seen Mahindra XUV700 users misuse ADAS, here's a moron who takes things to another level by napping on the driver's seat.

In a recent video, I came across a Mahindra XUV700 driver who is seen napping (or at least showing that he’s trying to take a quick nap) while the SUV autonomously moved using ADAS technology. Despite the XUV700’s popularity for its safety rating, tech features, and bold design, the misuse of ADAS functions remains a concerning trend. This is something that the latest incident highlights. We advise all our readers to refrain from such stunts and even spread the message of safe driving.

Mahindra XUV700 Driver Takes a Nap as SUV Moves Autonomously

A new Instagram post recently caught my attention. It showcases a video where an XUV700 driver is seen lying down on the driver’s seat with his feet perched atop the dashboard. Meanwhile, the vehicle operates autonomously. The video even shows some co-passengers who are seen talking to the driver. However, he pretends to sleep with legs on the dash. This clearly compromises safety in emergencies. All this while, the SUV is seen driving at 63 km/h. While this is far below the speed limit on an expressway, it can clearly lead to some bad outcomes in case of a mishap. As if the misuse of ADAS wasn’t bad enough, posting videos of such stunts may inadvertently encourage reckless imitation.

What We Think

very year, our nation witnesses numerous road accidents. In most cases, the primary causes often involve reckless driving and speeding, where drivers intentionally disregard traffic regulations. Sadly, many of these accidents could have been prevented. Notably, instances of mishaps involving the Mahindra XUV700 have surfaced due to the misuse of its ADAS. Some individuals engage in irresponsible activities like playing cards, eating, or sitting in the passenger seat while the SUV is in autonomous mode. But the latest case is clearly the worse I’ve ever seen! Such thoughtless actions pose severe risks and should be strictly avoided. It’s crucial to promote adherence to traffic rules and report individuals jeopardizing everyone’s safety.
