Powering the new Honda CB Shine SP is the same motor that does duty on the CB Shine. This 124.73 cc single-cylinder air-cooled unit churns out a max. power of 10.57 bhp at 7,500 rpm for the Shine. For the BSIV compliant Shine SP, however, it outputs 10.16 BHP. It producesย a peak torque of 10.30 Nm at 5,500 rpm. However, while the old Shine has to make do with a 4-speed manual transmission, the new CB Shine SP benefits from a 5-cog unit.
