Royal Enfield is currently in the process of enhancing the Himalayan model, following the recent introduction of the new Bullet 350. This improved version is set to come with a variety of enhancements, the most notable of which is the introduction of a brand-new engine. This includes things like a new front windshield, tweaked headlamps, LED indicators, 21-inch front tyre, a longer suspension travel, a cover on the shock absorbers, enticing colour combinations, fuel tank protecting iron rods, body graphics, dual-tone seat colours, split-seat arrangement, LED indicators at the rear, a 17-inch rear tyre with 140-section, a sleek exhaust pipe, sturdily built and throaty exhaust note. The tyres are off-roading focused. It has a full-digital round instrument cluster.

Specs

There is no official word about the specifications of the RE Himalayan. But this version will have a new engine with different riding modes. The previous 411-cc engine felt underpowered at times. Royal Enfield is set to introduce an all-new 451.66-cc liquid-cooled engine, expected to deliver around 40 hp, though specific torque details are still under wraps. The fresh engine will come mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

In order to accommodate this upgraded engine, Royal Enfield has undertaken a chassis redesign, increasing rigidity and utilizing the engine as an integral structural component. The bike will feature a 1,510 mm wheelbase and measure 2,245 mm in length. It’s safe to say that the off-road community is eagerly anticipating the arrival of the new Himalayan. Upon its release, it will face competition from models like the KTM Adventure 390, Suzuki V Strom 250, and the BMW G310 GS. Pricing details will be unveiled during the launch event.
