The compact SUV has been in its current-gen avatar since June 2022 and a facelift is certainly due
Updated on 02.01.2026 – The new 2026 Maruti Brezza has been spotted at a fueling station in CNG guise. We know that the Brezza is about to receive a thorough facelift to remain fresh amidst heavy competition. The latest images from Piyushpathaks on Facebook encapsulate a camouflaged compact SUV. The front section reminds us of the current Brezza courtesy of the headlamps. It bears a muscular and upright stance. On the sides, it gets fresh black alloy wheels. Even the taillamps are somewhat similar to the current model. Nevertheless, the main attraction is that this SUV is being refilled with CNG. This confirms that the new Brezza will have petrol and CNG powertrain alternatives.
2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift Spied Alongside Jimny
Updated on 16.12.2025 – The latest post from RamanDagarVlogs on YouTube captured the camouflaged 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift. Interestingly, it was being tested alongside a Maruti Jimny. Judging by the location, it is clear that the SUV is being driven somewhere in the mountains. That is a common practice among car companies to put their products through thorough tests to ensure that the car behaves appropriately even in adverse circumstances. Also, hilly roads bring out the true handling characteristics of any car, along with performance on inclines and descents. More details will emerge in the coming weeks.
New 2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift Spied with Underbody CNG Kit
Updated on 26.11.2025 – The new Maruti Brezza facelift has been spotted performing road tests in recent times. Brezza is among the most successful compact SUVs in our market. Available with petrol and CNG options, the SUV has remained relevant courtesy of comprehensive updates from the largest carmaker in the country. However, as the competition in this space rises, brands try to stay attractive with facelifts. In this latest spotting, we are able to get a few glimpses of what to expect with the new Brezza.
The video has been doing the rounds on social media for a few hours now. The visuals capture the heavily camouflaged SUV at a petrol pump. While the details regarding the design are not clear, I see a certain resemblance to the existing model. That is not strange since most facelifts remain close to the current versions anyway. However, what is quite interesting is the fact that this looks like the CNG version of the SUV. Via previous spottings, we know that it will most likely carry an underbody CNG kit this time around. That will ensure that the owners will get an uncompromised boot compartment. More details will emerge closer to the launch in the coming weeks.
New 2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift Caught Testing
Originally published on 21.11.2025 – The test mule of the upcoming 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift was recently spied testing on a public road. Brezza is among the most popular compact SUVs in the country. Despite having no diesel option, the SUV has done incredibly well on the sales charts. In fact, it is quite impressive since the competition in this space is intense. Almost all major carmakers offer some models in this space. Hence, to stand out from the crowd can be quite challenging. That is yet another reason why the largest car brand in the country needs to update the vehicle to keep it fresh.
This latest spy video has been doing the rounds on social media for the past few hours. The visuals capture a heavily camouflaged compact SUV amidst heavy traffic. As per the details of the post, it might be carrying an underbody CNG tank. We know that Maruti offers a factory-fitted CNG kit on many of its models, including the existing Brezza. However, if the CNG tank is located anywhere apart from that boot, it will enhance the practicality of the SUV manifold. Until now, the CNG tank in the boot eats up the storage space for the luggage. With an underbody CNG configuration, owners will be able to utilize the entire boot compartment.
Apart from that, not many visual changes are visible in this short video clip. Nevertheless, we can expect it to carry a tweaked styling, along with the addition of a few new features inside the cabin. While it is almost certain that it will continue to carry the 1.5-litre 4-cylinder NA petrol mill with the option of CNG, we might even see either a 1.0-litre turbo petrol (from the Fronx) or a new 1.2-litre turbo petrol mill. Manual and automatic transmission options will be available. However, nothing official has been announced just yet. We shall get to know more details in the coming weeks, as the launch might take place in the first half of 2026.
My View
The new Maruti Brezza will have a huge task on its hands as the number of products in this space has been increasing rapidly. While it will leverage its dense dealership and service network and the image of being the biggest carmaker, the competitors are offering incredible features, styling, safety and powertrain alternatives. Let us see how well Maruti equips the Brezza facelift to entice new buyers.

Having tracked the compact SUV segment for over a decade, I can say the Brezza’s mid-cycle update is arriving at a crucial time. Competition has never been fiercer, and buyers today expect far more than just reliability and low running costs. If Maruti truly manages to integrate an underbody CNG layout and bring in a turbo-petrol option, it could significantly strengthen the Brezza’s appeal. I’ll be watching closely to see whether Maruti evolves the package enough to stay ahead in this brutally competitive market.
