The new-generation Skoda Octavia RS wears the tag of being the most powerful iteration of this model ever. In India, we have been getting the Octavia RS as a full import. Still, the vehicle has been so popular that the allotted units for India used to fly off the shelves in no time. That is a testament to how well it was received in our market despite a huge price tag. Going forward, it remains to be seen how many units will be allotted to India for the new-gen model.
New-Generation Skoda Octavia RS
The Czech car marque officially released the images of the latest Octavia RS and Kodiaq RS. These flagship models get specific visual accents on the exterior and interior. Apart from that, the standard equipment list is now more comprehensive. This even includes things like virtual pedal and KESSY Advanced. Other prominent bits incorporate cutting-edge LED matrix headlamps, an aerodynamically optimized spoiler, a diffuser, a redesigned front and rear bumper along with a visible exhaust tip, 19-inch alloy wheels on Octavia RS and 20-inch alloys on Kodiaq RS with red brake calipers, progressive steering and lowered suspension and more.
Interior and Specs
On the inside, the new-generation Skoda Octavia RS gets a black theme with black seats and door panels with contrasting red stitching and black headlining. Apart from that, the infotainment system and Virtual Cockpit have adapted graphics and the front sports seats are designed specially to take care of ergonomics with integrated head restraints. Talking about the powertrain, these RS models now get a more powerful 2.0-litre TSI turbo petrol mill which creates a mammoth 265 hp (195 kW) of maximum power. That is more than ever before.
