Honda has launched the new Shine 100 DX, a more advanced version of its Shine series. This updated model is designed for today’s riders and includes several practical improvements. The Shine 100 DX comes with a fresh look. It now has a redesigned headlamp with chrome details, giving it a neat finish. The fuel tank is broad and sculpted, carrying the classic Honda logo. New graphics on the body panels add a stylish touch, while the all-black engine and grab rail create a strong contrast. A chrome muffler cover adds to the clean appearance.

The seat is long and comfortable, making daily rides easier for both the rider and passenger. The Shine 100 DX is available in four colours: Pearl Igneous Black, Imperial Red Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic, and Geny Gray Metallic. A key upgrade is the new digital LCD display. It shows real-time mileage, fuel range, and service reminders. It also includes a safety feature that turns off the engine if the side stand is down. The bike is powered by a 98.98cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine. It produces 5.43 kW of power and 8.04 Nm of torque. Paired with a 4-speed gearbox and Honda’s eSP technology, it ensures smooth rides and good fuel efficiency.

The Shine 100 DX is built for Indian roads. It has telescopic front forks and adjustable rear shock absorbers for a steady ride. Drum brakes on both wheels, along with Honda’s Combined Brake System (CBS), improve safety. The bike runs on 17-inch tubeless tyres and offers 168 mm of ground clearance, making it stable on different road conditions. In short, the Shine 100 DX combines comfort, performance, and safety in a simple, practical package.

Similarly, Honda has introduced the CB125 Hornet, a 125cc bike aimed at young, city riders. It brings together a sharp design, useful features, and lively performance for daily urban use. At the front, the bike has a bold look with a twin-LED headlamp, DRLs, and high-mounted LED indicators. The side profile includes a muscular fuel tank, sharp tank shrouds, and a sleek muffler. Golden USD front forks – first in the segment – along with a 5-step adjustable mono-shock, provide better handling. The ignition key is placed on the tank for easier access and a unique touch. The CB125 Hornet comes with a split seat for added comfort and multi-spoke alloy wheels for a modern look. It is available in four colour combinations:

  • Pearl Siren Blue with Lemon Ice Yellow
  • Pearl Igneous Black
  • Pearl Siren Blue with Athletic Blue Metallic
  • Pearl Siren Blue with Sports Red

It features a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and support for the Honda RoadSync app. Riders can get turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and music control through handlebar switches. There’s also a USB Type-C port for charging on the go. Safety features include an engine stop switch and a side-stand engine cut-off.

The CB125 Hornet runs on a 123.94cc, fuel-injected, OBD2B-compliant engine. It produces 8.2 kW of power and 11.2 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 5.4 seconds, making it quick for its class. Weighing only 124 kg, the bike is easy to handle. For braking, it has a 240mm front disc and 130mm rear drum, supported by single-channel ABS. Wide tubeless tyres ensure better grip and stability on city roads.
