The Kia Carens Clavis has finally been revealed for the Indian market. The bookings will commence from May 9 for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Kia has been coming up with new-age products with its global design language to set them apart from the rest of the lineup and the competitors. The Kia Carens Clavis continues to be powered by three mills – a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine which generates a familiar 115 PS and 144 Nm, a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol mill which churns out an impressive 160 PS and 253 Nm or a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine which produces a healthy 116 PS and 250 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. Performing transmission duties is a manual gearbox with the NA petrol, a new MT or DCT with turbo petrol and a manual or torque converter automatic gearbox with the diesel. This ensures that the needs of all sorts of buyers are taken into account.

In terms of appearance, it boasts a fresh design inspired by its latest global products. At the front, the striking elements include Star Map LED DRLs with integrated turn signals on the extreme corners of the bonnet with Ice Cube MFR LED headlamps, the Kia Digital Tiger Face with Diamond Finish Decor, and a sporty bumper with a rugged skid plate. On the sides, it gets dual-tone 17-inch Crystal cut alloy wheels, solid cladding on the door panels, prominent wheel arches and handy roof rails. Completing the exterior layout is the roof-mounted spoiler, shark fin antenna, connected LED taillamp and chunky bumper with silver accents at the rear. The dimensions are as follows:
