A virtual rendition of the new Kia Seltos GT has been displayed in the latest post. We know that the mid-size SUV has just been updated for our market a few days ago. The new Seltos is bigger than the outgoing model and boasts tons of new-age amenities to attract more buyers. Seltos has been among the highest-selling products in its segment since the beginning (2019). Nevertheless, the competition in this space is fierce. As a result, carmakers need to keep updating their products to stay relevant. For now, let us take a look at the details of this latest digital concept.
New Kia Seltos GT Rendered Digitally
This post stems from malvinwsetiawan on Instagram. The artist has evidently taken inspiration from the new Seltos. At the front, we see a broad grille section finished in gloss black with striking LED headlamps on either side. I particularly like the LED DRLs positioned on the extreme edges of the bonnet. Down below, the rugged skid plate section and distinct fog lamp casings accentuate the fascia and offer an imposing road presence. There are clear indications of the original Seltos.
We even get a brief glimpse of the side profile. Here, the artist has gone with a rather subtle and understated design with a lack of creases. The door panels are fairly simple and the flush-fitting door handles lend it a modern touch. Apart from that, the SUV gets squared wheel arches with elegant alloy wheels, black side pillars, black ORVMs, faux roof rails and a slightly bagged appearance. All in all, this has to be one of the most on-point digital renditions of the new Kia Seltos out there.
My View
I appreciate digital automobile artists who utilize their creativity to offer unfathomable iterations of familiar mass market cars. This Kia Seltos GT is a perfect example of that. At times, these artists go overboard and come up with such concepts, which we know will never make it to production. Nevertheless, we also see some brilliant avatars like this Seltos, wherein one can expect certain elements to carry through to the final model. In any case, I shall keep bringing such cases for our readers going forward, too.
