The new MINI Countryman E John Cooper Works has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 62 lakh, ex-showroom. The luxury hatchback will be a completely built-up unit (CBU), and the deliveries are slated to commence from today, i.e. June 10, 2025. As we have seen with other JCW iterations of other MINI cars in the past, the Countryman E will feature tons of sporty elements, including on the outside, as well as inside. The new MINI Countryman E John Cooper Works (JCW) Pack gets a fresh, sporty design. It follows MINI’s new ‘Charismatic Simplicity’ style, focusing on clean lines and bold features. It comes in Legend Grey or Midnight Black with black stripes, roof, and mirrors. Unique JCW design touches are visible on the grille, bumpers, skirts, and spoiler. The SUV has 19-inch black alloy wheels and a wide, athletic stance. New LED lights offer three signature modes with welcome and goodbye animations. The new MINI Countryman E John Cooper Works comes with updated LED lights featuring three Signature Modes – Classic, Favoured, and JCW. Each mode includes animated welcome and goodbye lighting. The High Beam Assistant helps avoid dazzling other drivers at night. Inside, the design is clean and modern. Sporty JCW seats, paddle shifters, and special dashboard trim enhance the driving feel. The cabin uses eco-friendly materials like recycled fabric, with no leather or chrome. Ambient lighting adds a unique touch. At the centre is a new 240 mm (9.4-inch) circular OLED touchscreen. It supports touch and voice control and runs the latest MINI Operating System 9. You can activate the voice assistant by saying “Hey MINI” to manage functions like navigation and music. The MINI Digital Key Plus lets your phone act as a car key. Features like a head-up display, Harman Kardon sound system, selfie camera, Apple CarPlay, and over-the-air updates add to the connected, high-tech experience.

Specs

The all-electric MINI Countryman offers strong performance with 204 hp and 250 Nm torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds. Powered by a 66.45 kWh battery, it has a driving range of up to 462 km (WLTP). Fast charging is supported – 10 to 80% in 29 minutes with a 130 kW DC charger. The car includes features like JCW sport brakes, cruise control, parking assistant with 360° camera, and Comfort Access. Safety features include airbags, ABS, Dynamic Stability Control, crash sensors, and tyre pressure indicators. Eco-friendly wheels use recycled aluminium. Clearly, the EV is well packed with the latest tech and hardcore performance.
