The compact SUV is about to get refreshed thoroughly to keep the rivals on their toes
The next-gen Hyundai Venue was spotted testing yet again. Note that the launch date is October 24, 2025. Venue is one of the most successful products in this category. That is especially impressive since this is one of the most crowded spaces in our market. We have cars from just about every major car marque in this segment. The Korean auto giant ensures that it equips its products with all the bells and whistles to attract new customers. There is no reason to believe that the new-gen Venue will be any different. Let us take a look at the details here.
Next-Gen Hyundai Venue Spied Alongside Tata Nexon
This video has been doing the rounds on the internet for the last few hours. An SUV with a heavy black covering is seen plying on the road amidst dense traffic. Look closely and the silhouette gives away its identity. The roof rails, the new alloy wheels and the familiar side section inform that it is the upcoming next-gen Venue. I also believe the fenders and other body panels are almost identical to the existing model. At the rear, we get a glimpse of the sleek LED taillamps, a shark fin antenna and a sporty bumper. Unfortunately, the front fascia of the compact SUV is not visible in this video.
On the inside, while this video doesn’t give away too much information, we can safely assume that the SUV will continue to get all the latest tech, connectivity, convenience and safety amenities. This even includes active and passive safety functionalities. Apart from that, I don’t suppose there will be any changes to the powertrain and transmission options. This includes a turbo petrol, a naturally aspirated petrol and a diesel mill, with manual and automatic gearboxes. More details will emerge at the launch event.
My View
With more cars joining this segment, brands must make sure their models stand out in price, features, tech, and safety. The Venue has been strong in all these areas since launch. That is why it ranks among the top compact SUVs in India. In the future, the Korean brand must keep it updated to draw fresh buyers. We will know more details in the coming months.
