Next-Gen Toyota Fortuner Imagined

Digital artists often come up with enticing iterations of prominent cars to pique the interest of car enthusiasts

In this post, I shall describe the details of a new-gen Toyota Fortuner with digital roots. Fortuner is the most successful 7-seat off-roading SUV in India. It has been around since 2009. Over the years, the Japanese auto giant has been able to update it consistently to ensure that it remains fresh. Also, the sheer lack of worthy competition, particularly in the last few years, has specifically boosted its sales and demand. However, a new generation model is long overdue.

We are able to witness this virtual illustration courtesy of vleds_iluminacao_automotiva on Instagram. The front fascia bears a few key distinctions to set it apart from the existing version. The LED DRLs are integrated inside the LED headlamp cluster and are connected via what seems like an LED strip, but could also be a blingy chrome belt. Apart from that, the horizontal LED lights are also visible on the extreme edges of the bumper, while the lower section bears an adventurous appeal, thanks to a rugged skid plate. I must admit the front section elevates its appeal substantially.

Moving down the sides reveals pretty much similar silhouette and design pattern as the current model. This includes black side pillars, chrome frame around the windows, side steps for easier ingress and egress, massive wheel arches, elegant alloy wheels and that raised shoulder line at the third quarter. Completing the exterior styling is the sporty tail section with quad-exhaust, a chrome accent on the bumper, LED taillamps, roof-mounted spoiler and an upright stance. Even the interior section has been transformed with modern bits. All in all, one could really expect something like this in the production model.

My View

I must admit this digital conceptualization certainly looks quite enticing. We know that the next-gen Toyota Fortuner is due for launch in the coming months. In the meantime, we can feast our eyes on virtual renditions like these. Also, these go to show the sheer creativity, imagination, skill and talent of the digital car artists to offer such compelling avatars of our beloved cars. I shall keep an eye out for more such cases going forward.
