Over 18 Maruti Dzire Cars Sold Per Hour in Last 16 Years

In the last 16 years, an average of over 18 Maruti Dzire cars have been sold per hour. That is an impressive statistic. 18 Maruti Dzire Cars Sold Per Hour

As per the official reports, a total of 26 lakh (2.6 million) Maruti Suzuki Dzire cars have been sold since 2008. That is quite wild and represents people’s love for the vehicle. What makes this number possible is the fact that the Dzire finds application among commercial fleet operators, as well as private individuals. Also, during its lifecycle, it has been available with various powertrains including petrol, diesel and CNG. Therefore, everyone could buy what they were looking for as per their requirements. Not to mention, the dense sales and aftersales network of Maruti Suzuki ensures that people have peace of mind while buying a Maruti car.

Specs

While the Dzire was available with multiple powertrains during its lifetime, at the moment, there is a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol and a CNG engine. The former outputs a decent 88 hp and 113 Nm, while the latter generates a usable 76 hp and 99 Nm of peak power and torque. These engines can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT automatic transmission. In the petrol trim, the mileage is a whopping 22.41 km/l (MT) and 22.61 km/h (AT). On the other hand, the CNG variant offers 31.12 km/kg. The prices range from Rs 6.57 lakh and Rs 9.39 lakh, ex-showroom.
