The Prime Ministers of countries often travel around in highly luxurious and safe vehicles, which results in them using custom cars

The car collection of Indian PM Narendra Modi and Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif is quite impressive. I must mention here that most of their cars are official vehicles. Oftentimes, the special security groups choose the right kind of vehicle for the heads of nations depending on their job and location. The prime aim is to ensure the highest level of security. That is the case almost everywhere in the world. For now, let us check out the kind of vehicles in the convoy of the Prime Ministers of both countries.

As visible from the table above, the Indian Prime Minister used tons of vehicles over the course of his political career. However, in recent times, he has mostly been spotted using a couple of these. The first eminent car he travels around in is the Mercedes Maybach S650 Pullman Guard. It is one of the most successful bulletproof cars in the world. This luxury sedan is made by a German carmaker for world leaders and high-profile individuals. It is designed with strong security features to protect the PM during attacks, including gunfire and blasts. The car also has systems to keep people inside safe during a chemical attack. It can keep moving even if the tires go flat. This vehicle leads the PM’s convoy and is built with special technology for maximum safety.

Apart from that, PM Narendra Modi also moves around in the Range Rover Sentinel. It is a customize luxury SUV which a few political leaders around the world own. It performs well on both city roads and rough terrain. The vehicle is built with high-level security in mind. Its windows are so thick they can’t be opened, except for a small gap on the driver’s side. It also has emergency escape options and can release a smoke screen if needed. The exact safety features are not shared publicly for security reasons. The price of this SUV is estimated between Rs 12 crore and Rs 15 crore.

Previously, the Indian PM used to make public appearances in a BMW 760Li. It was selected by the Special Protection Group (SPG). In addition to being a performance-focused and feature-rich sedan, it was converted into a bulletproof vehicle to maximize the PM’s security. Other bits incorporate bulletproof glass, protection under the car, and a special fuel tank that won’t catch fire or leak. The car also has run-flat tires that can keep going for about 50 km at 60 km/h even after being shot. For extra safety, it carries an oxygen supply in case of chemical threats.

Now, let us move on to the kind of cars the Pakistani PM deploys in his convoy. Again, the list is relatively shorter and not all of these are being used by him in the present day. Nevertheless, as per the details in this video by CarEX, we are able to get the visuals of the kind of cars he is chauffeured around in. This includes the likes of the Toyota Land Cruiser, which is a vehicle which a lot of prominent international personalities also use. Even the other cars must have bulletproof capabilities.
