Police Drive Mahindra Bolero Inside Hospital

In a bizarre turn of events, a Mahindra Bolero belonging to the Police was spotted driving through the emergency ward of a hospital. I must admit that this is one of the strangest visuals I have come across in recent times. Many Police departments across the nation often use the Mahindra Bolero as their official vehicle. The reason is quite simple. It is a rugged and tough SUV which can have multiple applications in various environments. However, I was not prepared for something like what I am about to report.

Police Drive Mahindra Bolero Inside Hospital

This video has been uploaded by Divya Gandotra Tandon on X. The caption reads, “The cops drove their car inside AIIMS Rishikesh.” The visuals demonstrate this strange incident in detail. Reportedly, the cops were chasing a suspect for harassment of the Doctor in this hospital. In fact, a complaint had been registered against the Nursing Officer for a sexual harassment case with a woman doctor on duty. In order to arrest the suspect, the Police took the extreme measure of driving the diesel SUV inside the emergency ward of the AIIMS hospital in Rishikesh.

The visuals evidently highlight the unbelievable occurrence. The security guard and other police personnel are seen making way for the SUV by pushing the stretchers to the sides. That is quite horrible. It makes no sense to drive through an area with so many patients while the SUV is emitting harmful pollutants in the air. Needless to say, the patients are evidently shocked to see this state of affairs. Interestingly, the officer in the front passenger seat is making the video of their entire operation. We are not sure if the arrest was made or not. The netizens vehemently disapproved of this act by the Police Department.

Our View

While I understand that the Police were just doing their duty to get hold of the culprit, it must be said that there is a way to do that. The health and safety of the patients are the top priorities of any hospital. No one has the power or authority to put lives in danger. I am not sure what the Police were thinking. Just to make a normal arrest, what was the need to drive an SUV inside the hospital? If they were worried about a chase on foot, they must understand that bringing the diesel SUV inside the emergency ward is more perilous. We hope that appropriate action is taken against this act.
