The compact electric SUV could well be a great choice for first-time EV buyers
The Citroen eC3 electric SUV offers a great entry point into the EV segment in India. In the last few years, we have seen this category grow rapidly. This understandably coincides with the global popularity of electric cars. As a consequence, we see carmakers introduce new models of EVs in India consistently. In fact, it clearly looks like the future of mobility is bound to be electric in most parts of the world. For now, let us check out the pros and cons of the French EV.
Pros and Cons of Citroen eC3 Electric SUV
Recently, I got the opportunity to experience the compact electric SUV thoroughly. During my time with the EV, I was able to observe some practical aspects. For instance, the claimed range of 320 km on a single charge means that you can squeeze out a decent real-world range of around 240 km. This is enough if your daily travel is within the confines of a city for work. In fact, you can go without charging it for around a week. Secondly, we know that Citroen cars are known for their ride quality.
I am happy to inform you that the eC3 doesn’t disappoint in this regard either. Just like its other cousins, the suspension tuning of the Citroen eC3 is ideal for the comfort of the passengers. It ensures smooth journeys. Apart from that, the 315-litre boot compartment is on par with its ICE counterpart, which is quite impressive. On the contrary, the under-thigh support for the rear seat has been compromised a little due to the addition of the battery pack under the floor. Nevertheless, I don’t believe it is going to be a deal-breaker for anyone. These are some pros and cons of the Citroen eC3.
Specs and Price
