The French auto giant is planning a few fresh products in its portfolio, including facelifts and new models, to grab more market share
In this post, we take a look at the details of the Renault Triber facelift wrapped in heavy camouflage. Renault has been posting decent performance on the sales charts for the last few years. This is due to its extremely value for money propositions like the Kwid, Triber and Kiger. The Triber is particularly interesting since it is among the most affordable 7-seat offerings in the country. It ensures great practicality without having to spend a fortune. Now, an upgraded Triber is about to launch soon.
Renault Triber Facelift Spied
The specifics of this case stem from motowagon on Instagram. Someone riding a bike on the road spotted the test mule and recorded a video. In the first part, we witness the tail section. It looks like the top trim because of the things like the rear wiper, roof rails, roof-mounted spoiler and LED taillamps. Gradually, we move towards the sides, where the rugged door panels and elegant alloy wheels become somewhat apparent. Finally, the front section contains sleek headlamps and the sloping bonnet line reminds us of the existing Triber. All in all, the MPV will bear a few changes to set it apart from the current model.
As most facelifts go, the interior of the Renault Triber facelift will bear slight modifications, but nothing too extreme. This might include things like a few additional features and amenities, along with the use of soft-touch materials. As a matter of fact, it could borrow a few elements from the Magnite as well. Finally, there is no reason to believe that the MPV will experience any alteration to the powertrain and transmission configurations. It will continue to carry a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated 3-cylinder petrol mill good for 72 hp and 96 Nm with 5-speed manual and AMT options. More details will emerge on July 23, when the debut is planned.
My View
Renault is working on the Triber facelift, Kiger facelift and the new Duster for the Indian market. Clearly, it wants to keep things fresh and exciting for the Indian buyers. Apart from that, it also utilizes India’s manufacturing prowess to export vehicles to many countries. Hence, India is a prominent market for Renault for multiple reasons. Let us keep an eye out for more details in this regard.
