The legendary cricketer already boasts an impressive vehicle collection
Famed cricketer Rohit Sharma has purchased a swanky new Tesla Model Y. He is one of the biggest names in Indian cricket. Over the years, he has achieved numerous accolades in his successful career. The former captain of the Indian cricket team loves to splurge on ostentatious automobiles. In fact, I have reported on his cars on many different occasions. He keeps upgrading his garage from time to time. Nevertheless, the most recent addition to his parking lot is arguably one of the most unique.
Rohit Sharma Buys Tesla Model Y
This video stems from ABPliveauto on YouTube. The visuals capture the batter arriving towards his new Tesla Model Y. It appears to be in the Quick Silver colour theme. He hugs his wife before heading out and sits inside the EV. Needless to say, tons of fans have gathered around and are clicking selfies with Rohit and the car in the background. They are making videos of the cricketer and his newest acquisition. I am sure that this is a normal situation for the cricketer everywhere he goes due to his mammoth popularity.
Interestingly, I must mention here that he has opted for the 3015 number plate yet again. We have seen this number on most of his other luxury cars as well. For the uninitiated, 15th November and 30th December are the birth dates of his son Ahaan and daughter Samaira, respectively. The final piece of the puzzle lies in the total of 30 and 15, which comes out to be 45, his jersey number. This is a great example to showcase just how much his children mean to him.
Tesla Model Y
The electric vehicle from the American auto giant comes with two battery pack alternatives –Â a 63 kWh for Rear-Wheel Drive and an 83 kWh for Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive. With the latter, the EV offers a range of 622 km on a single charge, while the former is good for a decent 500 km. In the most powerful settings, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h comes up in just 5.6 seconds and the power output stands at 283 hp and 312 hp, respectively. To maximize range, the EV boasts a drag coefficient of 0.22. With a 250 kW Supercharger, the Long Range can gain 267 km of range in just 15 minutes. Finally, the prices range from Rs 59.89 lakh and Rs 67.89 lakh, ex-showroom, with Rs 6 lakh extra for the Auto Pilot Autonomous Driving Technology.
