Tata Hexa Tests Build Quality of Altroz

Tata Motors is known for making some of the safest vehicles in the country.

In this latest incident, a Tata Hexa tests the build quality of a Tata Altroz. Hexa is an MPV/SUV which used to sell in our market a few years ago. At the time, the latest cars in Tata’s portfolio were not present. On the other hand, Altroz is a popular premium hatchback from the Indian auto giant. In fact, it boasts the title of being the only hatchback in the country with a full 5-star safety rating at the Global NCAP. That is evident in many accidents of the hatchback including this latest one. Here are the details of this case.

Tata Hexa Rear Ends Tata Altroz

This video comes from Prateek Singh on YouTube. This channel keeps featuring content around the performances of popular cars during unfortunate situations and road safety. On this occasion, a shocking case emerged from Tamil Nadu. As per the details in the video, the Altroz driver was travelling at around 80-90 km/h on a highway. Suddenly, a dog appeared on the road. To save it, he applied brake vehemently. The Hexa was right behind the Altroz. Understandably, the driver of the Hexa was not able to apply the brake quickly enough as it was also travelling at around 100 km/h. As a result, it hit the rear section of the Altroz after which the latter collided with the divider.

The visuals showcase the extent of damage to both cars. The tail section of the Altroz has sustained severe damage. In fact, the boot compartment is practically invisible. On the other hand, there is some damage to the front section of the Hexa too. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in this crash. That is a testament to the build quality of both these cars. This is particularly true for the Altroz. Despite such a major collision, it was able to save the passengers.

It is imperative that we collectively recognize and adhere to these rules, as this is the most effective means to guarantee road safety. Should you encounter anyone violating traffic protocols or engaging in reckless driving on our roads, it is crucial to document the incident with a video and report it to the authorities. This action ensures that appropriate measures are taken against such behaviour. Let us commit to being responsible drivers and strive to enhance the safety of our roads beyond their current state.
