Tata Nexon has time and again proven to be a very safe option as it has kept its occupants safe even in some scary accidents
That the Tata Nexon is a highly safe car is something that doesn’t need to be told time and again. However, its crash performance in one of the latest reported accidents will surely leave you really very impressed. From this, it’s clear that this sub-compact SUV is not only at the forefront of raising safety standards in the affordable car market. This is also a nod to the 5-star score it has achieved in the Global NCAP crash tests. As can be seen in the video we have below, in spite of falling 200 ft downhill, the car has kept its occupants safe.

As can be seen in the video above, the crash involves a facelifted version of the Tata Nexon, which fell down the road in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. However, in spite of the huge fall, the two occupants of the vehicle came out of it without even a single scratch. The 5-star-rated sub-compact SUV has sustained some serious damages in this accident as it landed on its roof. But the build quality of the vehicle is so good that in spite of this mishap, the pillars didn’t get damaged, which meant the cabin remained intact. The nose of the vehicle did get badly damaged as the bumper and the bonnet have been badly crumpled. Even the windscreen has shattered, while the rear windscreen, bumper, tailgate and taillamp have also bore the brunt of the fail. On the other hand, the engine of the vehicle cranked successfully and seemed to be in operational condition.
Usually, in falls such as the one seen above, one would be worried about the safety of the occupants of the vehicle. However, once again, the Nexon has kept both its occupants totally safe. So, it’s pretty unsurprising to know that the owner of the vehicle is all praise of his car’s build quality and feels that he’s still alive only because of the robust build of the vehicle.

It’s important to state here that in most cases, such accidents happen simply due to the error of judgement by the driver. In spite of how safe a vehicle one might be travelling in, he or she needs to ensure safety of himself and other occupants through practicing of safe driving. This gets all the more important when driving in hills as a small error can result into a big mishap if the car runs off the road and into a ditch.
