Similarities with Toyota Corolla Cross

The new Toyota 7-seater SUV is likely to get similar features and powertrains as the Corolla Cross. The three-row MPV comes with features like an electrically operated tailgate and flat foldable seats. However, it will get longer rear doors than the Corolla Cross. Toyota is likely to make some changes to the C and D pillars. The new model will underpin a modular TNGA-C platform (seen in the new Toyota Innova Hycross) that supports FWD and AWD systems. Toyota has used the TNGA-C architecture in it’s unibody vehicles in the C-segment or compact cars, crossover SUVs, and mid-size MPVs.
