The electric sports motorcycle has been gaining popularity in many European markets
The Ultraviolette F77 Ballistic+ has been launched with more smart features and power, courtesy of Gen3 Powertrain Firmware. In recent years, this Indian electric motorcycle startup has taken the market by storm. In fact, it is among the very few Indian EV startups which has garnered massive interest in its products in Europe. That represents the quality and prowess of the Indian auto industry. For now, let us take a look at the details of this upgrade.
Ultraviolette F77 Ballistic+ Launched
Ultraviolette has announced a major update for all F77 electric motorcycle owners. The company is rolling out its new Gen3 Powertrain Firmware, available at no extra cost. This update brings performance improvements to every F77, no matter when it was purchased. The update includes a feature called Ballistic+, which offers a more powerful and thrilling ride. It’s fully compatible with earlier F77 models, so no one is left out. This upgrade is part of Ultraviolette’s broader goal to keep improving its bikes with better design, performance, and technology.
Earlier in 2024, Ultraviolette launched the F77 MACH 2 with advanced safety and control systems. These included Traction Control, Hill-Hold Assist, and 10 levels of Regenerative Braking, among others. Now, using over 8 million km of real-world riding data, the company is taking things even further. At the heart of these upgrades is Violette A.I., a smart system built into the bikes. It learns from how people ride – tracking things like speed, throttle use, and road conditions – to fine-tune performance. With these new features, all existing F77 motorcycles are now more capable and ready for the road ahead.
Speaking on this occasion, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO s Co-founder of Ultraviolette, remarked, “For decades, vehicles, gadgets, and consumer electronics have followed a familiar trajectory where they start strong, but degrade over time. While others may practice planned obsolescence, we believe in the opposite paradigm where technology evolves and gets better with time. At Ultraviolette, we envision how a machine could learn from you, evolve with you, and unlock more power the longer you own it.”
