It is not all that common for electric two-wheelers to be driven this much in such a short span of time
An Ultraviolette F77 owner shared his ownership experience and review after clocking a whopping 80,000 km. We generally associate such figures with cars. To drive a two-wheeler for such distances reveals that the rider is a hardcore enthusiast who loves long rides. On top of that, to achieve something like this with an EV is an even more impressive feat. We know that EV owners or potential owners suffer from range anxiety. Since the charging infrastructure is not completely there, people are unwilling to take their EVs on long trips.
Ultraviolette F77 Long Term Review
This video stems from Dil Toota Biker on YouTube. The host interacts with the owner of this EV. He claims that he has done 80,000 km within just over 1 year despite being a full-time working professional. Over the course of this conversation, he retells his unbelievable travelling stories not just in India, but Nepal and Tibet as well. He has crisscrossed the breadth of the country. Furthermore, he narrates tales of his adventures concerning charging, particularly in remote parts of the country. He carries his boost charger with him, which he can connect to any 16-volt socket for emergency conditions.
In fact, he rode the electric sports bike in extreme hot and cold conditions. This ranges from 44-degree to -10-degree. Once, he encountered an issue with charging. He called the service support, and they gained access to his bike remotely and offered the solution. That speaks volumes about their service network, regardless of where you are in the country. Also, he even mentions about how some people offered him a charging socket for free in many parts of the country, while some charged him a minor fee. One thing he suggests to improve the charging experience is to have an app which can show the nearby charging stations from every company.
Moreover, he even mentions that he hardly spent around Rs 5,000 per service. Also, the service interval is 5,000 km. In this period of time, he ended up saving around Rs 2.5 lakh worth of petrol. He is positive that the coming times will make riding EVs less challenging due to the availability of charging stations everywhere. Furthermore, he says that electric mobility is a sustainable way of transportation and is also the future of mobility. Overall, he is mighty elated to have achieved this feat, and he will continue to carry on his journey.
