In all probability, the Tata Kite/Glade will replace the datedย Indica. The upcoming small car has beenย spotted testingย on many occasions and from the looks of it, the next small car from Tata will carry a design language that won’t be too different from what we have already seen on the Bolt and theย Zest.
Renault Kwid

- Launch Date: Q3, FYย 2015
- Engine: 800cc Petrol
- Rivals:ย Maruti Alto 800, Hyundai Eon
The upcoming Renault small car looks like a small crossover and could very well bring a revolution in the entry-level car market of our country. Expected to come with an 800cc petrol motor, the Kwid could give the high-selling Alto 800 a run for its money!

Maruti YRA –ย Baleno/Fronx

Expected to go on sale under the ‘Fronx’ moniker, the upcoming Maruti YRA hatchback will rival the likes ofย New Honda Jazzย and theย Hyundai Elite i20.ย It will be interesting to see the reaction of Indian car buying lot to this rather highlyย ambitious project fromย Maruti Suzuki.
New Ford Figo

The new Ford Figo, in all probability, would retain the strengths of the current model, which means that the car should score highly in terms of frugality, robustness and affordability. The new Figo showcases Ford’s Kinetic design language and boasts of many moreย features. Figo has been instrumental in turning the fortunes of Ford in Indiaย and the new model should further strengthen Ford Indiaย in the small car market.ย Ford India, at the launch of the Figo Aspire sedan, confirmed the launch of the Figo will take place during the festive season followed by the launch of the Endeavour SUV. The entry-level variant of the new Figo could retail for as less as INR 4.5 lacs (ex-showroom).
