The new Yezdi Motorcycles are designed to attract new customers who really love bikes. Now, the exhaust sound of the new models has surfaced.
Yezdi has recently launched three new motorcycles in India including an adventure bike and a roadster. They are now available for sale through the 300+ dealerships across the country. The company is even offering a zero-down payment scheme with a low EMI of Rs 4,873. The new bikes are based on the Jawa bike (likely Perak). However, they come with minor tweaks. Now, a video has emerged that compares the exhaust sound of the Yezdi Roadster, Scrambler, and Adventure models.
All three bikes are powered by a 334cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine (paired with a six-speed constant-mesh gearbox) that offers a maximum power of 30 bhp and 29 Nm of torque. Yezdi has tuned the engine to generate different power and torque outputs for different models. Additionally, the exhaust system is entirely different. As a result, the exhaust sound is completely different on the Yezdi Roadster, Scrambler, and Adventure. As you can see in the video above, the exhaust sound on the three bikes is very distinct. The new Yezdi Roadster price starts at Rs 1.98 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.06 lakh. You can choose from multiple color options – Dark Smoke Grey, Dark-Hunter Green, Dark Steel Blue, Chrome Sin Silver, and Chrome Gallant Grey. The new Yezdi Scrambler comes with a starting price of Rs 2.05 lakh. You can choose from Fire Orange, Outlaw Olive, Yelling Yellow, Midnight Blue, Mean Green, and Rebel Red. On the other hand, the price of the new Yezdi Adventure starts at Rs 2.10 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.19 lakh. It is available in three color options – Slick Silver, Mambo Blac, and Ranger Camo.
Yezdi (phonetic transcription of Czech language verb “jezdí) is a popular Indian motorcycle company. It was previously known as Ideal Jawa Ltd. The Mysore-based company is known for selling Jawa motorcycles (from 1960 to 1973). Now, the Yezdi brand is being revived by Classic Legends (they relaunched Jawa in 2018 and BSA earlier this year). The new Yezdi Roadking Scrambler and the Yezdi Adventure will compete with the upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter and Himalayan, respectively. Both feature a new architecture with a higher load-bearing rear subframe.
