Pawan Goenka, head of Mahindra’s automotive division, stated that their plan is still on the talks and no decision has been taken yet. In February 2005 a joint venture was formed between Mahindra and Renault with a 51:49 partnership and initially fueled the venture with an enormous 700 crores for the Nashik production facility.
