Mahindra and Mahindra is no exception when it comes to implementing engine upgrades to its existing line of vehicles to make the BS4 compatible. As the new emission norms are already implemented and the plea of the Indian car manufacturers to postpone implementation is already rejected by the Govt. of India, all car companies are upgrading their engines to comply with Bharat Stage-IV emission norms.
Mahindra and Mahindra is increasing the price of its popular SUV Scorpio, Xylo and Bolero because of the engine upgrade cost involved. Recently Maruti and Toyota has also announced price increase.
