2014 Ford Figo has been launched in India, the changes were showcased at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo. The car, a competitor to the ever popular Maruti Suzuki Swift, does not get a full makeover as expected. This is because Ford is working on a Figo replacement that will be launched in 2015 and was showcased by the Ford Ka concept a while back. The 2014 Ford Figo does get some new features to keep people interested in the car till the replacement arrives in India. The mechanicals and drivetrain of the car not been touched and Ford has also not done anything about the design too, a new paint option has been provided though.

New Paint Option
The 2014 Ford Figo gets a new paint option called ‘Mars Red’ (showcased in the photo above)
Wi-Fi
The 2014 Ford Figo will be the first car in its segment to offer in-car Wi-Fi connectivity. It works via a USB dongle that can be inserted into the USB port on the Figo’s media system, and the car beomces a Wi-Fi hotspot to which multiple devices can connect. It will be an added feature though, i.e it is not included as standard.
Average Efficiency Display
The 2014 Ford Figo will get an average fuel-efficiency display integrated into the instrument cluster display. It can be accessed via the toggle switch which changes the display between the odo reading, trip reading, distance-to-empty reading and average fuel-efficiency reading. This could help you be a better driver in terms of saving fuel.
