TVS Scooty Zest 110 Himalayan Highs Edition Commemorates Anam Hashim’s Ride to Khardung La on her Scooty Zest

Hosur-based Indian Two Wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company has launched a new special edition of its Scooty Zest automatic scooterette. Dubbed as the Scooty Zest 110 Himalayan Highs edition, this special version commemorates this Female-specific scooter’s ride to Khardung La Pass by a young female rider, Anam Hashim. With the successful completion of this rather adventurous ride, the Scooty Zest 110 has entered the India Book of Records for becoming the first 110cc scooter to ride till Khardung La. The new 2016 TVS Scooty Zest 110 Himalayan Highs edition has gone on sale across all TVS showrooms in India. It is priced at INR 46,113 (Ex-Showroom Delhi). The launch of this special Zest 110 follows the introduction of the 2016 Scooty Pep Plus late last month. Talking about the launch of the 2016 TVS Scooty Zest 110 Himalayan Highs special edition model, Mr. Aniruddha Haldar, VP Marketing, TVS Motor Company, said, “The Scooty has been an iconic brand for mobility in India. It’s only fitting that the first 110 cc scooter to reach the highest motorable road is a Scooty Zest 110, and it was ridden there by Anam Hashim, a 21 year old Scooty Zest owner.To commemorate this historic ride, we are happy to launch the Himalayan Highs special edition.” Anam started the ride on her Zest 110 in Jammu and rode thru Srinagar, Kargil, Zoji La Pass, Leh to reach the oxygen-depleted Khardung La. The new Scooty Zest 110 Himalayan Highs is priced at INR 46,113 (Ex-Showroom Delhi). In comparison, the regular Scooty Zest 110 is priced at INR 45,513 (Ex-Showroom Delhi). Priced slightly higher than the regular model, the Zest 110 Himalayan Highs gets bespoke features like-
