Ducati has updated the Scrambler 800 range for India. It has launched four models – Icon, Desert Sled, Cafe Racer and Full Throttle. The last model has been launched in India for the first time, while the others have received some updates.

The remaining three models receive minor cosmetic tweaks, improved technology and some feature additions. Here is the complete price list of the Scrambler range:

All these Scramblers use the same 803cc L-Twin cylinder air-cooled engine, that produces 73.4 BHP at 8250 RPM and 67 Nm of torque at 5750 RPM. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The Ducati Scrambler range is now equipped with cornering ABS, making it the most affordable bike to get this safety feature. This helps the ABS to work even while leaning.

The instrument console on the Ducati Scrambler range has been revised and now gets fuel gauge and a gear indicator. The brake and clutch levers are now adjustable. Further, the range gets Ducati Multimedia system, which offers Bluetooth connectivity.

The Desert Sled gets a dedicated off-road mode too. The switchgear onboard is borrowed from Scrambler 1100. The bikes now get a flat and more cushioned seat.

Another big change onboard is a softer suspension setup, which retains the handling quality of the bikes. The Scrambler Cafe Racer offers a dedicated riding position because of the lower placed clip-ons.

The Scrambler range goes against the likes of Triumph Street Scrambler, Street Twin and Harley Davidson Street Rod.
