Weeks after the Honda CB300R was launched in India, the 2019 updated version of the bike has been revealed in the Japanese market.

Honda has revealed the 2019 Honda CB300R in Japan. This comes after last month, HMSI launched the CB300R in India, which was the 2018 version. Here it has received an overwhelming response, taking the waiting period up to 3 months.

The updated CB300R gets minor visual changes which include a new Matte Blue Paint and Burnt copper paint job on the alloys. It is now available in three colour options along with Matt Axis Grey Metallic and Candy Chromosphere Red.

It gets a major update for the footpegs. The 2019 Honda CB300R gets steel pegs instead of rubber pegs. The India-spec version uses the rubber pegs. The new steel pegs look smaller and better.

Other than that, there are no visual and mechanical changes. It continues with the same 286cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine, that is tuned to produce 30 BHP at 8000 ROM and 27.4 Nm of peak torque at 6500 RPM.

As of now, its eact top speed remains unknown. A recent Youtube video shows the Honda CB300R touching 155 km/hr. The bike sprints from 0-60 km/hr in 3 seconds and 0-100 km/hr in just 6.2 seconds.
