That makes things really interesting indeed. On one hand, we have the Pulsar N150. Pulsar is a household name in our country. Bajaj has some model of the Pulsar in all major segments of our market. This drag race comes from KSC Vlogs on YouTube. The YouTuber keeps uploading such videos quite often. For the first round, he takes the KTM Duke 125. However, the Duke overtakes the Pulsar after a while and stays ahead for the entire race. For the second round, the riders were swapped to produce consistent results. However, the result remained the same. Initially, the Pulsar glides ahead but the Duke is able to eventually overtake the Pulsar and win the long race. Overall, the KTM Duke 125 is the clear winner.

Specs Comparison

On one hand, the Bajaj Pulsar N150 has a 149.68-cc four-stroke air-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine producing a decent 14.5 PS and 13.5 Nm of peak power and torque. The transmission duties are carried by a 5-speed manual gearbox. The price is an attractive Rs 1.17 lakh, ex-showroom. On the other hand, the Duke 125 has a 124.7-cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine that generates an impressive 14.5 PS and 12 Nm of peak power and torque. What We Think

Lately, YouTubers have hopped on the bandwagon of a popular trend: using drag races to assess and compare the performance of different motorcycles. However, it’s crucial to recognize that relying solely on drag races for these evaluations might not be the wisest choice. The reason for concern lies in the fact that drag races can potentially cause lasting damage to motorcycles, given that most bikes are not engineered for continuous high-speed, straight-line runs. Consequently, we strongly discourage attempting drag races with your own motorcycles. In reality, the majority of riders refrain from pushing their bikes to such extreme limits due to safety considerations and the potential risk of both personal injury and damage to their vehicles.
