Tata is finally ready to launch facelifted versions of both Harrier and Safari. Let’s take a look at the expected price, specs, design, features, and launch date.

Tata Motors is all set to launch updated versions of its most popular SUVs in the mid-size and full-size SUV segment. Both the 2023 Tata Harrier and Tata Safari Facelift will come with several segment-first features and significant exterior redesign. Both cars will get multiple safety features including ADAS. While the price of new models is still under wraps, the company has revealed several details including powertrains, design upgrades, and features. Let’s take a closer look.

2023 Tata Harrier and Tata Safari Facelift Price

Tata has ditched the old variant nomenclature for the new 2023 Harrier facelift. It will be available in four variants – Fearless, Adventure, Pure, and Smart. The company will also offer a Dark Edition variant as well. While the price of the new model is yet to be revealed, the new SUV is likely to get a premium price tag. The current-gen model comes with a starting price of Rs 15.20 lakh. The top-end Dark Edition variant comes at Rs 24.27 lakh.

Similarly, the 2023 Tata Safari facelift will also come in five broad variants – Accomplished, Adventure, Pure, Smart, and Dark Edition. It will cost higher than the outgoing model which comes with a price tag of Rs 15.85 lakh – Rs 25.21 lakh. Both the 2023 Tata Harrier and Tata Safari Facelift will be launched on October 17. Interested customers will be able to book the upcoming SUVs with a booking amount of Rs 25,000.

Design Upgrades

Tata Motors has made several design changes to the upcoming cars. This includes a new front grille and new alloy wheel designs. On the front, the 2023 Tata Harrier will feature connected LED DRLs, all-LED headlights, and fog lights. This will add a more modern look to the front fascia. On the other hand, the new Tata Safari facelift gets a body-coloured top front grille with connected LED DRLs, all-LED headlights, and a fog light setup. Overall, both cars have distinctive designs for the front fascias. On the back, both feature a sporty look and get redesigned connected LED taillights.

Features

On the inside, both the 2023 Tata Harrier and Tata Safari facelift will feature a more premium cabin than their predecessors. The company has added multiple new features with modern technology. This includes a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, and a new four-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logos. Additionally, both cars come with a new touch-based dual-zone automatic climate control system.

2023 Tata Harrier, Tata Safari Facelift Specs

The upcoming SUVs are expected to retain the same powertrain options as the current-gen models. Both the 2023 Tata Harrier and Tata Safari facelift will be powered by a Kryotec 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that can generate 170 bhp of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque. For transmission, both cars can be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission. More details are likely to emerge in the coming days.
