Mahindra Scorpio N vs Tata Harrier

The Mahindra Scorpio N is up to Rs 2.16 Lakh cheaper than Tata Harrier. However, the Tata SUV has several advantages over the new Scorpio.

The Mahindra Scorpio N has been launched with a starting price of Rs 12.49 Lakh. It competes with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, MG Hector, and more. While the aggressive price tag of the new Mahindra offering makes it very attractive among the competition, it does have a few shortcomings. In this post, let’s take a look at the advantages of Tata Harrier over the new SUV. Here are 5 Reasons Tata Harrier Is a Better Choice Than Mahindra Scorpio N:

Firstly, the Tata Harrier sports a large panoramic sunroof. Compared to the regular sunroof on Mahindra Scorpio N, it offers a bigger and brighter cabin feel. Furthermore, the Tata Harrier features genuine leather seats and ventilated front seats. While both cars come with many comfort and convenience features, the Harrier offers a little extra. This includes a cool storage compartment, tilt/ telescopic steering wheel adjustment, and an air purifier. Additionally, the new SUV comes with a ground clearance of 187mm. The 205mm ground clearance of Tata Harrier makes it a better option for Indian roads.

The Tata Harrier comes with a starting price of Rs 14.65 Lakh. It is available in seven broad trims โ€“ XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ, XZS, and XZ+. You can also choose manual and automatic transmission options. Except for the XE and XT variants, all other variants come with the optional 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. It also includes features like dual-tone alloy wheels, rain-sensing wipers, dual front airbags, an electronic stability program, ABS with EBD, and an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay).

Additional features include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, semi-digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, front and rear cameras, wireless phone charging, sunroof (non-panoramic), up to six airbags, hill assist control, a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control (ESC), and steering-mounted controls.
