This Maruti WagonR-based chopper moving on the road is an unbelievable sight. Indians are some of the most creative people in the world. There are countless talented people who apply their creativity to come up with impressive inventions. This latest modification of a WagonR into a ‘helicopter’ is yet another case in point. A lot of people, particularly from the rural areas of the country, have dreams of experiencing aeroplane travel. However, due to various constraints, it is not possible. That is where creations like these come into the picture. Here are the details.

Maruti WagonR-Based Chopper

This post comes from pakistan_cars_world_ on Instagram. It captures a weird contraption plying on a road. There is an orange-coloured helicopter-like car. It is being driven amidst heavy traffic. What is bizarre is the fact that it has a tail at the end and blades on the top. The entire body has been modified completely. Obviously, the blades seem like they are there only for aesthetic purposes. The overall working mechanism of the car is pretty normal. It drives using its original engine and tyres. It is a centre of attraction for a whole lot of people. They are clicking photos of it left and right.

You Can Rent It

We have reported one such case previously as well. The owner of that vehicle rents it out. That is what the makers of such unique vehicles generally end up doing. They invest their time and resources on such creations. Thereafter, they can rent it out to generate regular income. In semi-urban and rural areas, such unique cars are quite prominent, especially to celebrate special occasions like weddings and family functions. As a result, you would often see such machines in photos and videos of such ceremonies.

What We Think

We can’t deny the ingenuity of this vehicle. The efforts that went into creating something like this are commendable. But we must take care of the fact that driving such vehicles on the roads could be perilous for the owners, as well as others around. The safety of everyone must be considered while driving on the road. Such a car can easily block the line of sight of other drivers. Hence, terrible consequences could follow. But we also understand that, hopefully, these people don’t take this car on long journeys. Let us hope that nothing undesirable comes out of it.
